Description:

Restore historic upland and wet prairie habitat in Eliza Howell Park on Detroit's west side through vernal pond and wet-prairie ecosystem enhancement. Project will install strategically placed and designed pathways, no-mow delineators and arts, culture, and environmental education programs to activate the park and promote safe public use, and restore more than 16 acres of habitat, install 22 pathway and signage structures and reach 3,000 community members.
