Collect range-wide aerial survey information on bar-tailed godwits in Alaska to establish baseline information on the distribution and abundance of godwits during fall. This subspecies breeds only in Alaska, and survey information from Alaska will be paired with census information from nonbreeding sites in Australia and New Zealand to reassess the population status and inform future conservation actions of bar-tailed godwits in Alaska.
