Restore, improve and maintain montane longleaf pine habitat on public and private lands and collect monitoring data on the northern pine snake and other key terrestrial species in northeast Alabama and Northwest Georgia. Project will impact more than 35,000 acres of longleaf pine habitat through plantings, thinnings and prescribed burning.
