Description:

Build a 2,100 feet long and five acre area predator-exclusion fence in the Kuaokala State Forest Reserve on Oahu in order to protect a colony of 55 breeding pairs of Laysan albatrosses that has been severely affected by predation from mongooses. Project will result in predator exclusion of feral dogs, pigs, cats, mongooses, rats and mice, contributing to the production of about 30 Laysan albatross chicks annually.
