Test alternatives to mowed grass on poultry grower properties by evaluating several variations of buffer plantings for improved stormwater management. Project will convert mowed grass areas located between chicken houses into a variety of vegetative buffer alternatives to capture and filter stormwater runoff and serve as a demonstration to encourage other farmers to install similar plantings on their properties.
