Engage 150 producers through outreach, education, and technical assistance to implement improved conservation tillage, expanded cover crop practices, application of precision nutrient management, and increased prescribed grazing practices. Project will expand Maryland’s Healthy Soils Program with an Advisory Committee, establish and measure common baseline soil health metrics for participating producers, and inform the evolving national discussion of appropriate soil health metrics and tools.
