Implement prepared Comprehensive Nutrient Management Plans for several small Plain Sect dairies in SalisburyTownship identified with critical water concerns including leaking manure storage facilities, runoff from barnyards and loafing areas, inadequate manure storage, improper treatment of milk house wastewater, and lack of cattle stream crossings and fencing to exclude cattle. Project will implement environmental improvements on farms to increase their economic and environmental performance.
