Conduct prescribed burns operations using existing piles of conifer that have been thinned on the Lake Tahoe Basin Management Unit in California. Project will implement prescribed fires across 15 prescribed fire units totaling to 68 acres in order to remove conifers that are encroaching on ecologically valuable Aspen stands, which provide habitat for a variety of species.
