NFWF Grant Profile

Analyze the distribution and abundance of threatened and endangered bird species during the breeding season to inform population growth rates and trends as well as how climate change, habitat loss, and other human-induced changes threaten the BLM Special Status bird species and their habitat in 17 western states. Project will use comprehensive data collect to enhance, inform, and sustain threatened and endangered bird species recovery and habitat restoration as well as streamline the permitting process for consumptive uses of natural resources.
