Restore riparian and wetland habitat on and around a neglected riverine island, open eleven acres for limited access, and monitor and improve nearby water quality. Project will train community members to design and implement the project alongside trained local youth "Green Team" restoration crews, and benefit shortnose sturgeon, Atlantic sturgeon, blueback Herring and American eel.”
