Initiate an assessment of susceptibility of juvenile spring-run Chinook salmon to waterborne pathogens. Successfully completing this assessment will help inform state, federal and tribal fish managers as to which pathogens are present and will help advance fish managers’ planning for repopulation of anadromous fish in the upper basin to ultimately achieve sustainable and harvestable levels once the hydroelectric dams are decommissioned on the Klamath River.
