Systematically survey and monitor American Oystercatchers breeding on the beaches along the Delaware Bay in New Jersey for productivity and risk factors to reproductive success. Project will result in the development of a quantitative habitat characterization based on comprehensive assessments at active nest sites and the incorporation of the habitat needs of this priority at-risk species into larger beach restoration projects along the Delaware Bay in the future.
