NFWF Grant Profile

Enhance collective capacity to better manage agricultural lands in Virginia as habitat for grassland birds through enhanced regional conservation planning, consistent landowner messaging across local conservation partners, and applied research to understand and improve ongoing efforts. Project will improve grassland habitat management on 3,000 acres across the Virginia Piedmont and Shenandoah Valley and permanently protect 600 acres of critical grassland habitat.
