The Coalition for the Delaware River Watershed (CDRW), housed within New Jersey Audubon’s Government Relation’s department, is applying for capacity funding to administer a small grants restoration program involving provide peer mentoring opportunities to prospective grantees. Currently, smaller organizations with good restoration ideas lack the capacity to apply for and implement full projects. This small grants program will allow these organizations to acquire and implement community-based projects.

The goal of the Coalition’s?re-grants program is to assist community groups in building through on-the-ground restoration projects with an outcome of a cleaner, healthier, and more equitable and coordinated Delaware River watershed. These grants?will support conservation-oriented projects that build cross-sectional partnerships throughout the watershed, supporting the federal program’s priorities along with the Coalition’s mission
