Collect milkweed seed on Department of Defense lands, restore and improve pollinator habitat, and conduct monitoring to benefit monarchs and Smith's blue butterfly on public lands and private working lands in San Luis Obispo and Monterey Counties, California. Project will restore 300 acres, improve 50 acres, propagate 60,000 milkweed seedlings, collect 3 pounds of milkweed seed, sustain 2 jobs, and reach 1,000 people.
