Hurricane Sally resulted in an increase of derelict vessels lost in the coastal habitats of Alabama. The City of Mobile will restore Mobile’s waterways by removing marine debris related to Hurricane Sally. This project will remove derelict vessels and dislocated docks and piers and work with local partners on public outreach on securing boats during storms and current laws to decrease vessel loss in future storms.
