Implement a voluntary, incentive-based program to promote vibrant grasslands and ranching communities, increase climate resilience and improve habitat connectivity in the Sandhills to benefit at-risk species like the greater prairie-chicken. By engaging locally led partnerships, project will restore 800 acres of wetlands and four miles of streams, remove invasive plants from 75,000 acres of habitat, utilize prescribed fire on 32,000 acres, and perform native prairie seeding on 400 acres.
