Reduce the threats of fire exclusion and conifer encroachment in oak savanna habitat through restoration actions in the Upper Rogue Watershed, Jackson County, Oregon. Project will help stabilize populations of oak-prairie dependent wildlife species, steward oak-prairie ecosystems that are resilient to degradation from climate, extreme fire, insects, and disease, and establish partnerships and support for oak conservation to ensure long-term habitat protection and restoration.
