Advance ecosystem resiliency of lands allocated for bison restoration through the unique collaboration of Blackfeet, Rocky Boy, Fort Belknap, and Fort Peck Native American communities in Montana. Project will enhance ecosystem function on 57,000 acres by supporting day-to-day operations of buffalo programs, remove or replace over 100 miles of fencing with wildlife-friendly fence, and establish common rangeland monitoring across four Tribal communities to inform bison and land management.
