Implement the first invasive rodent eradication on an inhabited island (Floreana) in the Galapagos and prepare for feral cat eradication towards the recovery of the island’s population of Galapagos Petrel. Project will conduct application of aerial and ground-dispersed toxic baits, manage non-target risks, implement effective biosecurity measures, and empower local stakeholders while improving the monitoring procedures for estimating Galapagos Petrel mortality rates pre-eradication.
