Implement island wide status surveys of the waved albatross nesting population on Espanola Island in the Galapagos. Project will restore 1,400 acres of waved albatross nesting habitat through removal of invasive woody plants and attraction of giant tortoises to engineer plant communities for the benefit of nesting albatross and will monitor waved albatross response to restoration activities as well as trends in woody vegetation post treatment.
