Reduce bycatch of the critically endangered Waved Albatross in artisanal fisheries in coastal Ecuador and monitor population dynamics and collect demographic data from the primary breeding location in the Galapagos. Project will hold workshops with fishers, develop and distribute gear that mitigates bycatch, conduct surveys to evaluate bycatch in coastal fisheries, conduct small drone surveys of Española, and collect data on population dynamics and threats to breeding on Española and La Plata Islands.
