Description:

Support controlled burning and habitat management and longleaf pine and wiregrass planting on partner properties, and support a new partnership with the Waccamaw Siouan Tribe to promote longleaf restoration in the Cape Fear Arch landscape of North Carolina. Project will improve over 30,000 acres of existing longleaf with controlled burning and other management practices and plant 500 acres of longleaf, benefitting Bachman's sparrow, red-cockaded woodpecker and Venus flytrap.
