NFWF Grant Profile

Identify areas and causes of shoreline pollution and determine administratively and practically how the areas can be best restored along New York's Hutchinson River. The project will engage 50 volunteers, remove 500 pounds of trash, increase active participation in debris clean-up activities along the river and expand public awareness of the polluted shorelines through community meetings and collaboration and information exchanges with like-minded groups.
