Remove invasive species, implement green infrastructure on 3 acres to intercept stormwater runoff and develop an interpretive nature trail connection to the Merrimack River Trail in Riverfront State Park on the Merrimack River watershed in Lawrence, Massachusetts. The project will improve habitat, plant native trees, shrubs, and wetland plants, install interpretive signage and reduced erosion along the trail and riverbank with the introduction of a green infrastructure rain garden.
