Description:

Conduct instream and riparian restoration across 48 acres that will benefit anadromous and resident fish, sensitive amphibian communities and overall ecosystem function in three waterways within the southern Washington Cascades and the greater Cowlitz watershed. The project will create in-channel habitat for fish, reengage floodplains for amphibians and improve the overall quantity and quality of water in the system, while riparian planting will offer shade, bank stability and greater biodiversity.

Our work will occur in Lewis County, Washington within the southern Washington Cascades. Projects will be done in and along several salmon-bearing waterways in the greater Lower Cowlitz River watershed including tributaries of the Cispus and South Fork Toutle Rivers.
