Create an impactful restoration and education experience by removing invasive plants, restoring healthy native vegetation, and communicating the importance of invasive removal to visitors of a highly visible park in Athens, Georgia. The project will provide teens from an underserved community with employment experience and leadership skills while restoring 5+ acres of riparian and Oak-Hickory-Pine habitat in an important local park in their community.
