NFWF Grant Profile

Engage volunteers, build stewardship in the community and train community scientists to monitor water quality to identify sites in need of restoration in an expanded area of the Verde Watershed near Cottonwood, Arizona. The project will begin the implementation of the Verde River Watershed Water Quality Monitoring Plan, restore and implement Best Management Practices on 15 acres and engage 60 volunteers.
