Conduct education, engagement, and outreach to build on and expand prior behavioral change successes in the Mojave Desert using active interventions. The project will engage children, outdoor recreationists, restaurateurs, and the military communities surrounding the Western Mojave Recovery Unit focal areas in the Barstow region. The project will promote behavior change via practical, programmatic, and social norming actions to reduce harmful human-tortoise interactions.
