Restore and enhance in-stream habitat, establish 6 acres of riparian habitat, increase tree canopy along the stream, and convert fragmented, low-quality wetlands into a higher functioning, emergent wetland/sedge meadow ecosystem at FDR park in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Project will create and enhance fish and wildlife habitat, provide new public access and opportunities for water-based recreation, and increase the park’s flood storage capacity and climate resiliency.
