Enhance and maintain longleaf pine habitat and manage for the federally endangered red-cockaded woodpecker (RCW) on the 2,575 acre Stones Creek Game Land adjacent to Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune in eastern North Carolina as part of the Recovery and Sustainment Program. Project will support forest management activities, including prescribed burning, to improve habitat and enable future reintroduction of the RCW to Stones Creek Game Land.
