Conduct implementation-focused research to fill gaps in understanding of climate and non-climate stressors on manoomin (wild rice) to support tribal, state, and local government manoomin management strategies. Project will strengthen relationships between Tribal Nations and the state of Wisconsin, fill strategic research gaps, develop and pilot education and outreach materials, and develop detailed implementation strategies.
