Provide 22 field experiences involving habitat restoration, natural resource stewardship and research on the “Sea Lab” vessel; and deliver land-based teacher training and environmental festivals for 840 K-12 students and residents serving communities in the Bronx, Queens and Westchester County, New York. Project will provide access to and environmental education for urban residents, especially underserved communities, who lack opportunities to connect with and appreciate local waters.
