Expand community garden space and production of food-producing plants, shrubs, and trees to increase habitat for pollinators, migratory birds and benefit water quality in North Philadelphia food deserts. Project will educate and train community members through hosting harvesting events, volunteer workdays for planting and garden bed construction and educational workshops for maintaining urban green spaces.
