2016 Development of Cold Water Habitat (CA) Montague Water Conservation District Project Site is located at base of Dwinnell Dam on the edge of the Shasta River, Lake Shastina, Siskiyou County. MWCD owns and operates Dwinnell Reservoir. Project is fully on MWCD property.

2016 Evaluation and Biological Control of Fire-promoting Invasive Riparian Plants in Los Padres National Forest River Systems (CA) University of California - Santa Barbara All of LPNF will be considered for potential biocontrol releases to manage tamarisk, focusing on major river systems within/adjacent to LPNF for Santa Clara, Ventura, Santa Ynez and Sisquoc/Cuyama watersheds, with initial activity in Piru and Sespe drainages. $96,268.07
2016 Montopolis Wetland and Creek Rehab (TX) Ecology Action of Texas The project location is in the Country Club Creek East Watershed of Southeast Austin, Texas. Specifically, the project will target the Montopolis Wetland occurring in the Circle Acres Nature Preserve which is owned by Ecology Action and an adjacent one mile section of Country Club Creek East. $46,162.92
2016 Restoring Oyster Reefs in Choctawhatchee Bay through Community Stewardship (FL) Northwest Florida State College Foundation, Inc. Project will occur in the estuarine regions of Okaloosa and Walton Counties in the Choctawhatchee Watershed of Northwest Florida. Project will consist of constructing two oyster reefs in Choctawhatchee Bay and populating those reefs with oysters grown by stewards in the surrounding community. $39,992.37
2016 Wolf River Greenway Restoration (TN) - IV Wolf River Conservancy, Inc. All of the project sites are located in Memphis, Tennessee. Three of them: the Lucius Burch State Natural Area, Lovitt Woods and the Gower property are located near the intersection of Germantown Road and Wolf River Boulevard. The fourth site is Kennedy Park at 4575 Raleigh-LaGrange Road. $29,531.83

2016 GreenSkills Training to Benefit the Urban Watershed and Tree Canopy of New Haven (CT) New Haven Urban Resources Initiative The GreenSkills program is a resource for all of New Haven where we will plant 500 trees. We target our outreach seeking tree recipients/stewards primarily in underserved communities and communities with lower canopy coverage, which tend to correlate. $28,714.05
