Learn how NFWF’s Impact Directed Environmental Accounts department is administering the $19.5 million Greenpoint Community Environmental Fund (GCEF) using resources from a legal settlement to address local environmental priorities in partnership with the community. GCEF is a grant program created by the New York State Attorney General’s Office and Department of Environmental Conservation with funds obtained by the State in a settlement over oil and related environmental contamination at a Greenpoint, Brooklyn facility and in the surrounding community.
