Native Americans in Philanthropy
Support from Native Americans in Philanthropy (NAP) will fund the America the Beautiful Challenge (ATBC) match requirements for awarded Native Nation projects. The ATBC requires non-federal matching funds from grantees, and the NAP contribution will cover the full match needs for these projects.
The mission of Native Americans in Philanthropy (NAP) is to promote equitable and effective philanthropy in Native communities. Through its Tribal Nations Initiative (TNI), this partnership with NAP will fund the America the Beautiful Challenge (ATBC) match requirements for awarded Native Nation projects via the 2022 RFP. The ATBC requires a three percent non-federal match for these applicants, of which, 0.75 percent must be cash; the NAP TNI will cover the full match needs for these projects through its Tribal Nations Conservation Collaborative Fund. Grantees may provide additional match above and beyond the requirement.
America the Beautiful Challenge
Intended to streamline grant funding opportunities for voluntary conservation and restoration projects around the U.S., the America the Beautiful Challenge consolidates funding from multiple federal agencies and the private sector to enable applicants to develop and implement large-scale projects that address shared funder priorities and span public, private, and Tribal lands.
