Native Americans in Philanthropy

Support from Native Americans in Philanthropy (NAP) will fund the America’s Ecosystem Restoration Initiative (AERI) match requirements for awarded Native Nation projects. The AERI requires non-federal matching funds from grantees, and the NAP contribution will cover the full match needs for these projects.

The mission of Native Americans in Philanthropy (NAP) is to promote equitable and effective philanthropy in Native communities. Through its Tribal Nations Initiative (TNI), this partnership with NAP will fund the America’s Ecosystem Restoration Initiative (AERI) match requirements for awarded Native Nation projects via the AERI RFP. The AERI requires a 3 percent non-federal match for these applicants, of which, 0.75 percent must be cash; the NAP TNI will cover the full match needs for these projects through its Tribal Nations Conservation Collaborative Fund. Grantees may provide additional match above and beyond the requirement.
