2016 Development of the Hood Canal Watershed Cooperative Weed Management Area (WA) Hood Canal Salmon Enhancement Group Hood Canal is located on the eastern side of the Olympic Peninsula in Washington State. The watershed encompasses three different counties and includes numerous NGO partners, many of whom are working on noxious weed control. Hood Canal is home to several ESU-listed salmonid and bird species. $163,995.88

The LWI does have initial focal areas targeting the following sub-watersheds: Lower Susquehanna; Upper Susquehanna; Upper Potomac;Juniata; Shenandoah; Rapidan and Rappahannock; and Eastern Shore. $199,999.91
2016 Accelerating Use of Constructed Wetlands as a Nutrient-Removal Solution in Agricultural Watersheds (IL) The Wetlands Initiative Initially focused in the Big Bureau Creek subwatershed in north-central Illinois, which includes portions of Bureau, Lee, and LaSalle Counties. The project is anticipated to expand to the Vermilion-Illinois River Watershed (centered on Livingston County) and to at least one other Illinois watershed. $120,001.99

2016 Expanding the Channeled Scablands Cooperative Weed Management Area for Greater Sage Grouse (WA) Lincoln County Conservation District Project will be conducted within the boundaries of the Channeled Scablands CWMA within portions of Spokane, Lincoln and Whitman Counties in Washington state. The CWMA boundary will be extended north to include portions of Lincoln County that contain several 1000 acres of sage grouse habitat. $74,901.74

2016 Conservation of Shoal and Red-eye bass through the Implementation of the Native Black Bass Business plan. Southeastern Association of Fish and Wildlife Agencies Overall, this proposal covers multiple conservation actions that will occur both throughout the Apalachicola-Chattahoochee-Flint and Savannah River basins and also in select areas through increased coordination. The Red-eye bass genetic assessments will occur in the Upper Savannah River basin and in $497,188.00
