2016 Habitat Restoration for Monarch Butterflies in South Texas American Bird Conservancy Habitat restoration practices will be implemented on private land in the Grassland Focus Area in the Tamaulipan Brushlands ecorregion of south Texas in the heart of the areas' Monarch migratory corridor. Project Counties are: Duval, Jim Wells, Kleberg, Jim Hogg, Brooks, Kenedy, Starr, and Hidalgo. $249,931.10
